Appointment and Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice, you may be charged up to the full amount of your appointment or a fee of $20, whichever is less. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

NO-SHOW
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
 


LATE ARRIVALS 
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

 

VOUCHERS - GROUPONS, LIVINGSOCIAL, ETC. (EXCEPT GIFT CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY Sunshine Wellness)

All promotional vouchers are subject to our appointment and cancellation policies. It is our desire to honor the promotional vouchers purchased by the customers at all times but vouchers may be subject to blackout times or dates at the discretion of management. Additionally, those with vouchers may change their services to another by paying the difference in price.  Furthermore, vouchers cannot be redeemed on the same day as purchase. If you would like to come in on the same day, please call Sunshine Wellness before purchasing. 

 

Appointments using a voucher MUST book an appointment with the appropriate voucher number at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments made without putting down a voucher number will not be honored. 

Vouchers are limited to NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY. Even if you have purchased the voucher, it may be refused if you have been to Sunshine Wellness already.

 

Customers with vouchers that "no-show" will have their vouchers redeemed automatically.

 

Sunshine Wellness has the right to refuse any voucher. 

 

PACKAGES

If you are one of the many satisfied customers of Sunshine Wellness, you may have purchased a package. Packages may be freely given to anyone with the approval of the Account Holder. Additionally, Packages expire one year from purchase. If your package has expired, you may recover your lost sessions by renewing your package.  

 

All policies may be enforced at the discretion of the manager on-site. If you have any questions, please e-mail us or call us.

WAIVERS

By accepting and starting any service that includes massage therapy, customers automatically agree to the following:

I understand that the massage service offered is for the therapeutic purpose of general wellness, stress reduction, and relief of muscular tension.

 

I understand the risks associated with massage therapy include, but are not limited to: Superficial bruising Short-term muscle soreness Exacerbation of undiscovered injury I have been given the opportunity to ask questions about massage therapy and my questions have been answered to my satisfaction.

 

If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will immediately inform my therapist so that the pressure or techniques can be adjusted to my comfort level. I will not hold my massage therapist responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience during or after the session.

 

I understand the importance of informing my massage therapist of all medical conditions and medications that I am taking, and that there may be additional risks based on my physical condition.

 

I understand that I or the massage therapist may terminate the session at any time. I release the massage therapist and business from all liability for any harm that may unintentionally result from this treatment.

REFUNDS

All sales and services are final. However, if you are unhappy with your service and/or your therapist, please inform management. We will work with you on a solution.
